Absences

If a child is going to be absent or late, parents are asked to inform the secretary office the very same morning at the latest. For repeated or unjustified absences, parents will be convened to a meeting with the headmaster.

Parents are asked to inform the school in writing, if their child suffers from a contagious disease. The child will be able to return to school after providing a certificate of good health.

If you realise in the morning that your child is sick (vomiting or has fever), we ask you to keep him/her at home. This is to protect your child from further complications, and also because we are not set up to look after sick children.

From the elementary level (from the ‘CP’ class), any absence of 3 or more days will have to be justified in writing.
