Mission

In Helsinki, the French school Jules Verne fully fulfils its mission as a French school abroad: it provides access to the French education system to French children living in Finland, and promotes the French language and culture in the country. It is an answer to many international families’ requirements and is multicultural (French, Finnish and other nationalities are represented, more than 15 nationalities for the school year 2007-2008)

Being a member of the AEFE world wide web (Agency for French Teaching Abroad), the French school Jules Verne offers to each pupil a direct continuity with 400 other school around the world as well as with the schools in France.

The French school Jules Verne provides the French curriculum which warrants to each child, taught in one of the French schools abroad, continuity in its education, a perfect corresponding of the levels and pedagogy approved and supervised by the French Ministry of Education and the French Foreign Ministry.
